HUMANITY’S HOPE
T he future of our world lies in our hands. Many years from now the future of humani-
ty could be bright, but what if it is not? What if we continue doing the wrongs and evils,
turn our world into one filled with corruption, robbery, crimes and injustice? What if, we
make our world, dark?
Imagine waking up and finding yourself standing on a dark, nev-
er-ending piece of floating land. The darkness is not those of
shadows and shades but of the souls of people. It is the darkness
produced in their minds, engraved in the bricks of their homes
and woven into their lives.
Generations later, the
wrong becomes the right
and people start believing
that the wrong they are do-
ing is the right.
As the darkness consumes
every soul on our planet, the pressure crumbles
their minds and there is no sunlight in the prison
that they have created for themselves. The darkness
has swallowed our planet, eaten the beautiful valleys with the daffodils, the blue skies
with all its clouds and the waves that once washed the beaches. We are locked in the
chains of our own misery. The world slowly starts destroying itself. Our world stays dark
forever, it could have been bright….
But today the valleys still have their daffodils, the skies are still blue and the waves still
wash the beaches. Our world provides us a chance to set things right before everything
turns wrong. There is still hope. The days will turn into months and years but we must
not forget to build a path towards a new world. The future of the Earth now lies in our
hands, waiting for us to set it free from all evil.
So, let the light of hope guide our souls towards a better world……

LIFETIME HOBBY
My kind of sports are badminton and football,
It keeps me fit and strong.
During the summer practice, I was so hungry that I ate up a ball,
And no more does sport keep me thin and long.
I played badminton since when I was small,
And thus-with badminton-I share endless love.
But, alas! I don't play it that well at all,
Because the racquet keeps giving me that annoying shove.
When I was small I thought it is all just hard work,
Because the coach used to make fitness mean and tough.
But now I realize that the equipment would leave a smirk,
Until I work harder, harder and harder that would seem a bit rough.MRIDU P-VII H
