GROWTH
rowth is the one thing I believe every single human being should invest their
time and effort in. individual growth, growth to attain self-satisfaction. As a
conclusion of the lives of many people I know, it’s so clear to see that one be-
gins
G losing substance and personality the second they believe they’re perfect
and need to expand in experience- be it in or out of our comfort zones.
In order to grow, I think it’s the most important step- to risk it all and step out of your
comfort zone. You will either fail, in which case you learn from those mistakes and grow
wiser, or else you succeed, in which case you’ll gain more confidence in yourself, growing
and moving forward in that particular field and as a person overall.
Either way, you’re going to grow, which in my opinion beats the oblivious “but what if”.
Without jumping the hurdles, there’s no way you’re going to make it to the end of the
race.
Some may call this growth “selfish” or “inconsiderate” since it does mean putting your-
self first. To counter that here’s another perspective:
How can you be good for ANYONE else, when you know deep down that you’re not your
best self?
In my opinion, work on oneself is easily the most selfless act there is.
There are many out there who would still consider this a taboo change- putting yourself
first- but that evidently shows how much they care about your wellbeing. Because if any-
one claims to love you and wish only well for you, they will let you, if not encourage you,
to push back on everything, and grow by yourself, for yourself.
So again, for the improvement of yourself, shut out those negative vibes and the people
that actually believe that they can stop you from becoming a better version of you.
Grow and let grow.
