Quilting baby quilts and lap quilts.

The quilters have made plans to make 30” by 40” quilts for use by babies and toddlers and as
lap quilts for those in wheelchairs or while sitting in chairs. It doesn’t take long to tie a quilt
of this size – one person can do it in no more than half an hour. The next scheduled quilting
day is May 21. All you need to know is how to tie a knot. We know these smaller quilts will
be good for placing on the floor or ground for ba-
bies and toddlers to sit on. They may also be
used as ‘blankies’ by these children. Quilts with a
more grown-up pattern can be used as a lap quilt
to keep adults and elderly people comfortable.

We plan to donate the quilts to Voices and Medi-
na. Please consider coming to help make a quilt
or two. Men are also encouraged to come. We
know you can tie knots, too!!
