room out of some chairs and a blanket. Provide manna to eat using crackers or a
rice cake. **tent snack-spread peanut butter or frosting on an ice cream cone
and sprinkle with chocolate chips!

with glitter or jewels. Add a robe and some jewelry!
Sheep search
The Bible gives us many stories with sheep and shepherds. Hide cotton balls
around the house or yard and have kids hunt for them. **Make a sheep snack
with pretzel stick legs, lg. marshmallows for the body and small marshmallows for
the head.
Fruit of the spirit stamping
Cut several fruits such as apples or pears in half and make art by pressing the
fruit into paint and “stamping” on a piece of paper.
Celebrate God’s creation
Go outside for a nature walk. Find as many living things as possible like bugs,
birds and squirrels. And look for other things God has created such as pinecones
or dandelions. **Use animal shaped cookie cutters to cut fun shapes out of fruit
roll ups!
th
National Day of Prayer is May 7 .
Have the kids make a prayer chain out of paper loops and write on each loop
the name of someone they would like to say a special prayer for. Hang it up so
that the kids can think of and pray for their special “someone’s” each day.
