Trinity Lutheran Offers CSA Subscriptions
Garden Team Members at Trinity Lutheran Church are
busy preparing their summer garden for planting and are
accepting applications for people to purchase a subscrip-
tion to their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) pro-
gram. CSAs are a popular garden-to-consumer program
that encourages people to support farmers by purchasing
a weekly box of produce. Trinity is offering a CSA as
part of their efforts to raise money to fund their Blessing
Box (food pantry) in Durand and to financially support
the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America World Hun-
ger program.
Applications and further information about Trini-
ty’s CSA program are available on their website
at www.trinitydurand.com. Click on the garden image on
the homepage for the link to the application and infor-
mation. If you need a paper application mailed to you,
please call and leave a message at 815-248-
2311. The CSA program runs for 16 weeks beginning
June 13, 2020 and ending September 26, 2020. Weekly
pick-up will be on Saturdays at 12111 Center Road
from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The number of
subscriptions is limited.
