d- A parcel "British English" = A package "American
English": an object or collection of objects wrapped in
paper so that it can be sent by post.
• Example:
- Mr. Brown sent a parcel of food.
e- An envelope: a thin paper cover, usually a square or a
rectangular paper container in which letters are put and
sent.
• Examples:
- Mr. Smith opened the envelope and read the letter.
- George asked for two envelopes for sending the letters.
f- A Postage stamp "Formal" – A stamp: a small piece of
paper with a picture or pattern on it which is stuck onto a
letter or parcel before it is posted to show that postage has
been paid for.
