m- A letter of compliant = a complaint letter: a letter,
which is normally written to deal with a problem or a bad
situation. It is the letter, in which the writer complains,
reports a bad experience or express dissatisfaction or a
negative opinion on something bad.

• Example:
- Because of the delay in yesterday's flight, the passenger

wrote a letter of complaint to the manager.

n- A letter of sponsorship = a sponsorship letter: a
personalised letter, which is sent by a team or event
organiser to people or businesses usually for requesting
money or some other goods or services in exchange for
some form of promotion. It typically asks a business or
individual to contribute to an event, a fundraising initiative
or to provide a long-term support to a non-profit
organisation.

• Example:
- After writing a letter of sponsorship to the hotel, the

conference got free coffee breaks.
