“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in
the shadow of the Almighty…For it is He who delivers you
from the snare of the trapper (enemy), and from the deadly
pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His
wings you may seek refuge . . .”

In Isaiah 51:16 God says –
“I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you
(believer) in the shadow of my hand.”

2. The Spiritual Covering Of God’s Son And His
Prayers

Jesus ascended into Heaven and covers with His prayers
and intercession all those who draw near to Him through
His atoning sacrifice –
“Hence, also, He (JESUS) is able to save to the uttermost those
who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to
make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7: 25).

3. The Spiritual Covering Of God’s Spirit And His
Providential Leading

The Holy Spirit is given to indwell every believer so that
He can lead us in God’s plan (John 16: 13). The Holy Spirit
clothes us with power (Luke 24:49) and covers us with
a garment of praise (Isaiah 61:1– 4) – love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, meekness, faithfulness and
self control, when we allow Him to control us.

Remember, when Satan wanted to spiritually attack Job, he
complained to God –
