That’s why as a church, we recommend believers to study
the Word of God every day. And that’s why we suggest getting
at least 2 services a week. That’s also why we encourage
a Bible college education, so that we can receive fresh
revelation of the Word of God. It is a covering, protection
and blessing for your soul.
5. The Spiritual Covering Of Redemption - The
Robe Of Righteousness

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, God
covered and clothed them with coats of Lamb’s skin. There
is no record of Adam and Eve doing a thing about the
covering. God took their false fig leaves coverings off and
covered them with the skins of the Lamb. This is a symbolic
picture of how when a sinner believes in Christ, his sins are
not only forgiven and washed away, (Titus 3:5) but the Lord
covers him with His “robe of righteousness” in Isaiah 61:10
– “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, for He has clothed me
with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the
robe of righteousness...”

As part of our spiritual armor we are to have on “the
breastplate of righteousness.” Whenever the devil comes to
accuse us, we are to remind him that we are forever clothed
in Christ’s righteousness.

6. The Spiritual Covering Of A Pastor (Shepherd)
A very important covering for the household of God is the
spiritual covering of the Pastor – teacher. Right through the
Bible, we see the importance of an overseeing shepherd. In
the congregation of Israel, it was Moses (helped by elders).
