“Have you not made a hedge around him (Job), around his
household, and around all that he has on every side? You
have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have
increased in the land” (Job 1: 10).
Thus every believer has the protective covering of God –
the Father, God – the Son and God – the Holy Spirit. These
protective coverings form a ‘hedge’ around a believer.

Now in addition to these 3 wonderful coverings of the
Trinity, God has given every believer 7 more spiritual
coverings to protect, to guide and to bless his life.
4. The Spiritual Covering Of Light Because Of The
Word Of God.

Psalm 104: 1, 2 tells us that God is clothed with splendor
and majesty, covering Himself with light as a garment. Not
only is God clothed with a garment of light but He also
desires to clothe His believers with the light of His Word.

In Psalm 119:130 it records that –
“The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding
to the simple.”

One of the Hebrew translations says “the entrance of your
Word unfolds light”.

Psalm 97: 11 declares –

Light is sown like seed for the righteous and gladness for
the upright in heart.
