workers stay in the rain and the cold of winter in tents. It is of no
concern to them whether they and their children are able to eat
or drink. It is of no interest to them whether those children go to
school, or the rent is paid… If bailiffs have come to workers’
houses, it is of no interest to them…

The Kazova textile workers to get back four months’ wages,
seniority or notice taken from them broke the locks on the Kazova
Trikotaj factory on 28 June and occupied it. They stated that in a
situation where machines had been confiscated and debts not
paid, machines would be sold to pay debts. The bosses who had
not shown themselves for months suddenly bestirred themselves
after the occupation. They said the workers would be paid what
they were owed after Ramadan. A LIE! They do not think that
workers might need to eat and drink during Ramadan.

WORKERS – DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING SAID BY
THESE THIEVES! The aim of the bosses is to deceive the work-
ers, empty out the factory and leave nothing behind. Actually,
while the bosses walk around freely, the AKP’s police and courts
suddenly moved into action. When the workers wanted to sell off
machines to settle debts, suddenly four busloads of police turned
