Northern Voices Chorus

“Reunited and it feels so good!” In September, we moved our in-person rehearsals from outside
back to our rehearsal hall where we hadn’t been in almost two years! We made sure to take any
necessary precautions to ensure all members felt safe and comfortable.
We have continued to work on our repertoire, including our new uptune, but as we all know, the
Christmas season begins for us in September! We have decided not to do any live performances for
the time being, so we have been practicing for a holiday video to send to our friends and family.
Along with our “concert,” we are looking forward to our annual holiday party with our tradition of a
Yankee swap. It was a bit different last year, but this year we’ll be able to (lovingly) fight over the
gifts in person!
In November, many of us were fortunate enough to see our youngest member, Ella, perform in her
high school play as Wednesday from the Addams. All of us were bursting with pride and admiration
as she brought her character to life.
Throughout the challenges we’ve faced over the past two years, we have remained strong friends
and supporters of each other, and we know that we can survive anything! Bring on 2022!
