Best Beef Brisket

5 lbs beef brisket, R-T-C
3/8 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili pepper
1 Best Barbeque Sauce
Combine the seasonings and rub over brisket. Cover and refrigerate for 8
hours or overnight.
Set aside 3/4 cup of sauce. Brush brisket with remaining sauce. Seal
tightly with aluminum foil (either wrap or put in roasting pan and cover,
if available, put lid on top). Bake at 275 degrees for 6 to 8 hours,
until very tender.
Remove meat, either slice or shred and serve with reserved sauce.

NOTES : I made this on 1/11/02. It was delicious. However, I put
all the sauce on the meat and had trouble removing the
grease that cooked out of the meat. Next time I will keep
some sauce out and dispose of the cooking juices.
