1 Corinthians 3: 13 God will test the quality of each man's work.

Way to Work (Means)

1. Whatever we make will be tested to see if it is good or suitable e.g. a car, chair.
Did you know that God tests us - to see what is in our hearts, our obedience, our
faith, and the quality of our work.

By God's grace - we are saved not by passing a test on what we have done, but

on how we respond to Jesus' offer to save us: but the quality of our work will be
tested nonetheless.

2. Today we want to try and find out which is the best boat. What do we mean by
best boat? Nicest looking? Biggest? Most colourful? One that holds most
cargo? - The best cargo boat.

3. What will the test be?

~ Will it float?
~ Is it able to hold lots of cargo?
~ What sort of cargo should we use? e.g. kg weights, polystyrene
chips?

4. How shall we record this?

Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

To help the children appreciate the importance of doing a quality work, that will
stand up to the scrutiny of others.

To involve the children in designing a fair test to test their own work.
