Her mother was beheaded when she was three.
Became queen in 1558, aged 25.
She did not marry nor have children.
Medium build, reddish hair, lots of jewels, well-dressed having 3,000 dresses
Could speak six languages.
She hated making form decisions, manipulated people and craved flattery.
She was an Anglo-Catholic.
She enjoyed music and dancing.
Said to have had four baths a year!
She tried to avoid wars due to lack of money.

1. The children should see that monarchs are ordinary people with strengths and
weaknesses. God does not select perfect people for special positions.
2. They should have a greater knowledge of the Tudor monarchs.
3. They should be better equipped to gather information from a variety of resources
and to present it for a chosen audience.
