1. Review the previous lesson.

            2. Talk about the differences between the rich and the poor in Tudor times. Give the

children the opportunity to conduct their own research from books, the Internet and
other resources to produce a wall display, mini-project or a presentation of some kind
for the class on one or more of the following topics (or something similar):-

                               Clothes
                               Food
                               Children
                               Schools

                               Health
                               Travel
                               Life in the country
                               Life in the town

                               Further work on homes

The children should be postured to contrast the rich and poor within these topics.
They should be given a guideline as to how much writing should be produced as well as
illustrations, articles downloaded from the Internet, how it is to be presented, etc

             3. At the end of lesson 9, work should be shared in a class setting. Let the children
encourage one another as well as suggest ways in which each could be improved.

        Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

            1. The children should be better equipped to conduct their own research and to make
               comparisons within the chosen subjects.

            2. They will have had experience in offering constructive criticism to enable work to be
               improved.
