   Potatoes, turkeys, tobacco, etc was brought to England.
                       The English had more settlements in North America.
                       England became a Protestant nation rather than a Catholic one.

                       Tudor houses still remain throughout the country.
                       We have the writings of people like Shakespeare and the music and art of
                        other artists.
                       We have beautiful stately homes.


                 If time allows, they may like to think of unhelpful influences seen in Tudor times.

            9.   Let the children find out more about Shakespeare and the plays he wrote. A

                  newspaper page could be produced about him.

                Alternatively, the Tudor legacy could be recorded with illustrations or pictures
               gathered from the Internet as a newspaper sheet with a suitable title, eg Tudor News,

               Tudor Times.

            10.  End the project by thanking God for the times we live in and praying that we too will
                have a positive influence on future generations.


        Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

            1.  The children will see that past generations had very gifted people who used their

                God-given gifts for the good of others.

            2.  They will appreciate the legacy of the Tudors. Hopefully, they will have been
                challenged to think about the legacy we are leaving for future generations today.
