Y6 Autumn Term Part 1. CW Lesson 4

Give lots of examples, reminding the children that when two people or things

are compared, we use a comparative adjective. When more than two people, or
two groups of people, or things are compared we use superlative adjectives.

E.g. Boys are often taller than girls.

                6. Talk about the irregular forms of adjectives e.g. good, better, best; much,
                    more, most; little, less, least.

                7. Let the children try the worksheet. Suggest that the children use a thesaurus.

            Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

                1. The children will consolidate their work on adjectives.

                2. They will have had further experience in using a thesaurus.
