Alonzo has come to a conclusion that the country is not ready for a practitioner of his
craft, caliber and expertise. And he sees no end in sight; at least -- not in the rear
mirror.
However, Manuela doesn’t feel the same thing. She has a different inclination;
feels Alonzo can get any job he sets his eyes on.
“Not ready --”
“--What do you mean not ready?” look of disappointment.
“For this.”
“Apparently your other head didn’t get the memo.”
“Not even going to dignify that with a response.”
Much later, the couple agree that Alonzo should stay a few more weeks in D.R.,
an agreement was drawn, signed and notarized by a D.R. notary public. However, for
the extended stay, Alonzo must pay an additional $300.00 to the Airline.
Through it all, and with a heavy heart, Alonzo manages to spend seventy-one
days in stunning Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. During his all-inclusive vacation,
he meets and develops feelings for a lovely young woman, MANUELA. While it is the
best all-inclusive experience he has ever experienced -- including Manuela who
genuinely falls in love with him; however, he just couldn’t allow his heart to
