I. DIVISION OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT
The Division of Institutional Advancement works with S University chancellor,
deans, students, faculty, staff, friends, and alumni to help establish a robust level
of institutional awareness and philanthropic support for the Institution.
Vision Statement: The Division of Institutional Advancement at SU strives to build
and nurture a culture of philanthropy from internal and
external constituencies that strengthens the comprehensive
Institution’s mission as a proactive provider of exceptional
education and training.
Mission Statement: The Division of Institutional Advancement is charged with the
identification, cultivation, recruitment, solicitation and
stewardship of donors.
Institution’s Values: Shared values are the commitments made by the Institution’s
community regarding how work will be conducted.
Institution’s values include:
Strategic Planning: Systematic process, one that builds commitment to priorities
essential to mission-critical work.
▪ Strategic planning establishes the guideposts that chart the
journey toward eminence and provides opportunities to
assess the steps along the way.
▪ Strategic planning also helps ensure that the University
remains vital, sustainable, and accountable.
