In Constituent relationship management (CRM) system and periodic
attendance at prospect management meetings.
▪ Oversees and balances the budget for Alumni Relations; within the annual
program budget, manages existing and/or additional alumni programs,
services and communications.
▪ Raises funds for select special projects and events in collaboration with
Development colleagues.
▪ Supervises Manager, Alumni Relations, administrative assistant, work/study
employees and provides guidance to alumni volunteers.
FUND DEVELOPMENT
Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement (VCIA),
the Director of Development will be instrumental in securing donor and
prospect support by helping and collaborating with non-experts understand
the value of institutional and collegial initiatives, strengthening internal and
external communications and information capacities, and implementing
effective moves management and project tracking systems. This critical
position is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and future direction of
the University’s colleges, schools and student scholarships, and is responsible
for the planning, development and implementation of programs and projects
that strategically engage the University’s constituencies.
The Development Office works year-round to provide the necessary funding for
many of the programs available to students, faculty and staff members.
