professional judgment while delivering and implementing best practices,
policies and procedures for managing all donor and alumni data, the Director
will be customer focused while analyzing end-users ongoing needs and
developing reliable solutions to support fund development and alumni
relations efforts. The Director will make strategic decisions on the appropriate
tools and resources needed to maintain a quality program.
Responsibilities:
▪ Develops, implements, and oversees a strategic plan for improving and
enhancing data management, data acquisition and data maintenance
systems, processes and procedures.
▪ Creates easy to understand user manuals, guidelines, and policies for gift
processing, data acquisition, and data maintenance.
▪ Oversees and secures the confidentiality of alumni and donor information.
▪ Ensures and maintains data accuracy for all relevant biographical, contact,
education, and employment information inside each constituent record.
▪ Assesses processes used for data integrity; develops and implements new
quality control measures for the management of alumni and donor
information.
▪ Drafts policies and processes for the maintenance of donor and alumni
records, gift processing, and security and confidentiality of information.
▪ Ensures the utilization and implementation of constituent record
management (CRM) so the system supports Advancement’s fund
development efforts via reports, giving history, prospect portfolio and
proposal management, moves management, and related metrics.
