Division of Institutional Advancement
The Division of Institutional Advancement works with State University chancellor,
deans, students, faculty, staff, friends, and alumni to help establish a robust level
of institutional awareness and philanthropic support for the University.
Vision Statement: The Division of Institutional Advancement at SU strives to build
and nurture a culture of philanthropy from internal and
external constituencies that strengthens the university’s
mission as a provider of excellent education and training.
FACULTY & STAFF STEERING COMMITTEE
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Faculty & Staff Annual Fund Appeal Steering Committee shall be
members of the faculty and staff of State University who are campus leaders
and are recognized as such.
Specific or proposed position description of the Steering Committee
members is as follows:
▪ Motivate others to make annual gifts to SU by signing appeal letters.
▪ Advocate for the needs and financial support of SU.
▪ Support the SU Annual Giving with a personal financial gift.
▪ Lend your name to a roster of annual fund volunteers.
▪ Work closely with the Director of Development & Alumni Affairs.
▪ Recruit additional volunteers to assist in the Appeal, if needed.
▪ Solicit financial support from select individual prospects.
