Alonzo’s Approaches to SUSA:

a) Recruits 4-5 students from each class with a total of 16-20 members per
group.

b) Freshman candidates will be referred to the SUSA program from the

Office of Recruitment & Admissions (Special Programs) and PREP.

c) Sophomore and higher-level students will be identified and recruited
through their involvement with SGA, CAB, PREP Staff, Greek Life, and other

various student organizations:

✓ Utilize the Office of Student Life and Leadership.

d) Create committees where one student from each class serves on the

committee in one of the following capacities:

✓ Annual Student Giving.

✓ Semester Campaigns -- Competitions between student groups.

✓ Membership/Athletic/Campus / Public Relations.

e) Incorporate SUSA mission and this information into the UNIVERSITY 1001
freshman class:

✓ Get a page in the class paperback textbook, and

✓ Schedule for a select students to visit every class.

✓ $1 Gift Appeal to get as many students as possible to give $1 they
choose -- including but not limited to, Greek Life, College, or athletic.
