TUBING AND COUPLINGS AND VALVES

Although generally the piping components of a pneumatic conveying system are comprised of
relatively low tech components, proper specification in this area is essential if a system is to
perform successfully, much less at maximum performance capability.

Many systems are hard piped from beginning to end while others connect the major system
components with a combination of flexible hose and rigid tubing. Please note that VAC-U-MAX will
utilize pipe (the diameter of pipe is measured on the ID), in engineered systems of higher volume, but the
components specified here are all tube size (measurement is on the OD).
