Dynamics is used in many ways throughout the organization, depending on a user’s role in Sandvik
Coromant.
What is expected for your role?
Field Sales
As a Field Sales Representative for Sandvik Coromant, using Microsoft Dynamics daily will assist you
in driving your business through many different areas. Such as opportunities, account management
and monthly activities.
By identifying and entering your opportunities in Dynamics, you will have a clearer visibility of
achieving your monthly sales targets.
Also, it will provide a better understanding of our customers level of activity and potential sales
growth.
Following are guidelines as to when and how to use Dynamics.
Daily:
• Review Appointments in Dynamics for current day.
• Review your Social Pane in Dynamics to see if any new cases have been opened for the
customer.
• Enter possible opportunities, either before or after meeting with Customer.
• Update contact information after accounts visits as needed – new phone number, email or
address
• Enter additional information on opportunity, when customer visit is complete

Quick Updates to Activities, Contact Information &
Sales Pipeline Records during & after a customer Visit
Weekly:
• Review all your activities for the week and update any opportunities.
Monthly:
Since the days, weeks are busy with appointments and different tasks, it is important to review
Dynamics Monthly to ensure all information is in Dynamics to better serve our Customer.
