After this the final was somewhat of an anti- 11
climax as despite all the efforts of Francis
Dennett, Bob & Maureen Williams they could
not overcome the strength of Les Woodward,
Sheila King & Tony Gepp who finally won 14 - 3.
In the Pairs quarter finals, Marian & Dennis
Greenwell were in outstanding form against An-
gela & David Buck, winning 12 shots to 4. Cynthia
Riley & Michael Ackland were pushed all the way
by Les Woodward & Eve Hodgson but eventually
won 8 - 6.

three ends, (3, 3, 2), gave them an 11 - 4 victory.
