Nine-year Major League veteran, Buddy Carlyle enters third season in the Angels
organization and second as Assistant Pitching Coordinator...Was Double-A Mobile’s
pitching coach during the 2017 campaign...During the season, worked with future
Angels Eduardo Paredes and Parker Bridwell...In 2016, made coaching debut after
being hired by the Atlanta Braves as an assistant coach and manager of replay review
protocol...Retired from baseball prior to the 2016 season...Appeared in 150 career games with the Padres,
Dodgers, Braves, Yankees and Mets going 13-13 with 5.14 ERA...Also saw action across four different seasons
in Japan (2001, 2002 and 2010) and Korea (2006)...Originally drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the second
round of the 1996 draft.

Outfield, Base Running & Bunting Coordinator
Constantine joins Angels organization in 2019 following four seasons as an assistant
coach for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod League...Club is based in Orleans,
Massachusetts...Has also made coaching stints with Winston-Salem State University,
University of Maryland, Eastern Shore and the United States Naval Academy...During
time with the Midshipmen, team won back-to-back Patriot League championships...
During ‘16 campaign, Naval Academy notched its first victory in NCAA Tournament in over 10 years...Played
collegiate baseball for Winston-Salem State University and was named a 2012 USCAA Academic All-American...
Played two seasons of Independent League baseball in the Pecos League following college career...Appeared
with the Taos Blizzard (Taos, NM) in 2013 and Douglas Diablos (Douglas, AZ) in 2014.

Special Assignment Catching Coordinator...Spent two seasons as coach at Salt Lake
(2001-02) and two seasons at Erie (1999-2000)...Managed rookie-level Butte for two
seasons (1997-98), compiling 56-92 record...Served as bullpen coach for Angels in
1995 and 1996, joining brother Marcel Lachemann’s staff, Sept. 22, 1994...Bill has also guided Angels affiliates
in Mesa (1990-94), Palm Springs (1987-89) and Quad Cities (1985-86)...Led Palm Springs to first half title
in 1988...Before joining Angels organization, spent nine seasons as minor league coach with San Francisco
(1976-84)...Coached at Great Falls (1976-81), Fresno (1982) and Clinton (1983-84)...Played six minor league
seasons (1955-61) in Dodgers organization...In 1982, played in one game as back-up catcher with Fresno in first
playing appearance in 19 years and handled one putout while not recording a plate appearance...Graduated
from College of Great Falls (MT) in 1971 with bachelor’s degree in teaching...Earned All-City honors as catcher
at Dorsey High in Los Angeles (CA), where he was a teammate of Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson...
Brother Marcel is Angels’ Special Assistant to the General Manager and brother Rene was a former manager
of the Marlins, Brewers and Mariners...Bill has three children (Colleen, Bill and Tim)...Resides in Great Falls,
MT...Full name is William Charles Lachemann.
