Hitting Coordinator
Former Angel outfielder and minor league coach returns to the organization in
2019...During 2017 and 2018 campaigns, was the Rangers minor league base run-
ning coordinator...Worked in the Dodgers organization from 2012-16...During time
with Los Angeles, worked as the organization’s roving hitting instructor (2015-16)
and base running coordinator (2012-14)...Coached for the Halos organization from
2008-11 in various capacities...Served as interim manager for Single-A Inland Empire in 2011 replacing Tom
Gamboa...Was the Inland Empire hitting coach from 2009-11 after holding the same role with Single-A Cedar
Rapids in 2008...Made managerial debut with Arizona’s Single-A Missoula in 2007...Club finished with a 26-50
record...Began coaching career with Arizona, working as a hitting coach with Single-A High Desert in 2003,
Double-A El Paso in 2004 and Single-A Lancaster in 2005 and 2006...A former 9th round draft pick by the
Oakland A’s in 1991, went on to play three big league seasons with the A’s (1996-97) and Angels (1998), batting
a combined .249 (120/482) with 23 doubles, three triples, eight home runs and 41 RBI...Resides in Eagle, ID
and has two children Tevis and Dalton...Brother Justin was the assistant hitting coach for the Rangers in 2018...
Father Clyde played in 241 big league games with the Reds and Expos from 1969-73.

Catching Coordinator
Former professional catcher makes his coaching debut in 2019 as the organization’s
roving catching coordinator...Since retiring from baseball in late 2017, has been
working for an Orlando-based baseball analytics company called Datraks Pro...Spent
12 years playing professional baseball in the Reds Padres, Rays and Yankees organi-
zations...Made Major League debut the Padres Aug. 2, 2012 vs. the Club who drafted
him, the Cincinnati Reds...Went 1-for-5 with a home run and one RBI in two career MINOR LEAGUE
big league games...Retired from baseball after being granted free agency by the Yankees, Nov. 6, 2017...Played
three seasons at the University of Miami.

Rehab Coach
Begins 31st season with the Angels and third with title of Rehab Coach...Spent
four years as Angels Rehab Pitching Coordinator...Previous six seasons was the
organization’s Roving Pitching Coordinator...Winner of 2009 Mara Forcey Award
for Minor League Employee of the Year, given to member of staff for outstanding
commitment and dedication...Spent 2005 and 2006 as pitching coach for Single-A
Cedar Rapids...Previously was pitching coach at Double-A Arkansas (2004), Rookie-level Provo (2002-03),
Single-A Rancho Cucamonga (2001), Single-A Lake Elsinore (1998-2000), Rookie-level Butte (1997), Double-A
Midland (1991-96) and Single-A Palm Springs (1989-90)...Before joining Angels, he coached one season (1987)
at South Mountain Community College...Played five seasons in Giants organization (1981-1985) after being
selected in 18th round of 1981 June amateur draft...Pitched two seasons (1980-81) at Northern Arizona
University and two seasons (1978-79) at Glendale Community College...Also played quarterback for Glendale
football team one season…Earned business degree from Arizona State University in 1989...Attended Brophy
Prep School in Phoenix, AZ...Served as pitching coach for 2005 Surprise Scorpions in Arizona Fall League...
