Prohibited Conduct
Threats, threatening language, or any other acts of aggression or violence made toward
or by any Company employee WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. For purposes of this policy,
a threat includes any verbal, visual or physical harassment or abuse, attempts to
intimidate or to instill fear in others, menacing gestures, bringing weapons to the
workplace, stalking, defacing Company property with threatening or intimidating
markings, or any other hostile, aggressive, injurious and/or destructive actions
undertaken for the purpose of domination or intimidation.
Procedures for Reporting a Threat
All potentially dangerous situations, including threats by coworkers, should be reported
immediately to the Restaurant Manager, or to any other member of management with
whom you feel comfortable. Reports of threats may be made anonymously. All threats
will be promptly investigated. No employee will be subject to retaliation, intimidation or
discipline as a result of reporting a threat in good faith under this policy.
If an investigation confirms that threat of a violent act or violence itself has occurred, the
Company will take appropriate corrective action with regard to the offending employee.
If you are the recipient of a threat made by an outside party, please follow the steps
detailed in this section. It is important for us to be aware of any potential danger in our
workplace. Indeed, we want to take every precaution to protect everyone from the
threat of a violent act by an employee or anyone else.
If you have any questions about this policy, please speak with a Human Resources
Team member.
ACCIDENTS ON COMPANY PREMISES
Any accident that occurs on the Restaurant premises must be reported immediately to
the manager on duty. For your own safety and the safety of our guests, please do not
attempt to give medical aid to an injured guest or fellow employee unless you have
been trained to do so. Seek the assistance of a supervisor or manager.
Workers Compensation
The Company carries workers’ compensation insurance and will assist employees in
obtaining all benefits to which they are legally entitled. If you are injured while working,
please report it immediately to your supervisor, no matter how minor the injury may be.
