MULTIPLICATION OF MONEY

While multiplying money figures, we do not write the point in columns.
We first multiply without the point in consideration and then put the decimal
point in the answer after leaving two digits from the right.

Multiply ` 36.80 by 2.

DIVISION OF MONEY

While dividing the money figures, we do not put the point and divide as we
do with ordinary numbers. We put the point in the quotient after two places
from the right to get the answer in rupees (`) and paise (p).
