The Schaumburg store continually receives positive customer feedback
regarding Matthew’s kindness and willingness to help. His “can-do” and

that “helping others builds his confidence and overall leadership skills just by
knowing he can positively influence the lives of others around him.”
Matthew also displays his leadership on the field. For the past two years he
has participated in both Varsity Track & Field and Varsity Football as a
starter. Matthew’s primary goal for the future is to utilize his degree with
the hopes of advancing his store management career with Jewel-Osco.
Anthony Aiello
Store #3272 - DeKalb, Produce Clerk
Northern Illinois University
Anthony strives to learn all he can about Jewel-Osco. His Store Director
explains that he demands perfection in himself and is the definition of great
work ethic. Last year, Anthony transferred to another Jewel-Osco store,
allowing him to continue working while attending college full-time. In his first
few weeks, Anthony asked his manager for additional responsibility in the
Produce Department. Today, he’s able to run the department on his own. In
his spare time, Anthony volunteers his time to local homeless shelters and
Feed My Starving Children. After graduation, Anthony wants to further his
career at Jewel-Osco with hopes of one day becoming a Store Director, 23
where he can continue serving others and the community.
