The project consists of 39,000 square feet of buildout and renova.on of exis.ng shell space. The project

will be a general med/surg unit serving ortho and neuro pa.ents. A total of 48 pa.ent rooms will be add-
ed; built under a very demanding schedule, 6 months from start to final inspec.ons.

Nemours Children’s Hospital

Nemours is embarking on an expansion in which it
will build out the unfinished sixth floor atop the
630,000 square foot hospital. The project will add
another 30 beds, all of which will be cri.cal-care
capable and enable the hospital to handle more
cardiac and other cri.cal-care pa.ents.

In addi.on, the 30 cri.cal care beds, a cardiac
opera.ng room and a catheteriza.on lab were
added to the sixth floor, which will open up the
hospital’s exis.ng cardiac rooms for the other
procedures.
