understand their previous religions as one of the reasons that caused them to be dissatisfied
with them. Consequently, this dissatisfaction has generated other dissatisfactions. TCR are
viewed as illogical, not relevant and not organized.
The intellectualization of religion has also caused many respondents to either stop
believing in religions or to be agnostic. Figure 3.11 shows more than half of the respondents
who do not have a religion currently do not agree that TCR are in line with scientific logics.
These respondents perceive TCR as religions that are shrouded by superstition. As shown
in Figure 3.12, 37.04 percent of them agree with this statement while another 14.81 percent
strongly agree. Only a small group of respondents (less than 15%) do not think that TCR are
shrouded by superstition and perceive them as religions that are in line with scientific logic.
