There are features to note, the frequency of the


             resonance and the damping rate.



             The resonance has an interesting profile in the


             frequency domain.













































            This is a characteristic profile of a resonance (a


            vibration). The sharper the spectral profile the


            smaller the damping.



            The broader the spectral profile, the greater the


            damping.



        Q-factor



            Every resonance has a Q-factor which is defined as,
