Navigation reference documents for each vehicle are collected on GM Answers in the
following document:

GM Answers Document
Instruct agents to search for the document which will provide support information for
this topic. The target document is:
Navigation Systems - GM Vehicle Chart Once located, review the document as a
class.
The GM Vehicle Chart lists the make/model/year of vehicles with navigation systems.
Once you locate the vehicle in question, you will find the following information
displayed for each vehicle:
o Navigation Model: The type of system in the vehicle
o RPO: The Regular Production Code of the Navigation system in the vehicle
o Map Disc Media: The medium used to load the map data
o Map Media Slot Location: The method used to load the map data
o User Interface Type: The type of controls used to make selections on the
system
o Audio Playback: The location of the CD player (which may be shared with the
map disc slot)
o Original Map Disc Part Number: The part number of the vehicle’s original map
disc
o Map Disc update: The part number of subsequent map releases
o Related Troubleshooting Documents: A list of the GM Answers documents
that are related to the specific Navigation system, such as:
