1. Displaying Points of Interest (POI)
“I have a 2005 Grand Prix I heard something from a friend of mine about using my
navigation system to get to interesting places. Can you explain what that is and how to do
it?”
The agent should find the Denso TSC Gen III Navigation Step by Step Information
document, then go to Section IV: Other Nav Features> Displaying POI Icons on Screen
(“Quick POI”) and explain how to display POI information. Next the agent should move to
Section III: Setting and Deleting Destinations> Setting a Destination by Point of Interest
(POI) and explain how to set a destination by POI

2. Using the Address Book

“I have a 2006 Escalade. I have been creating routes using my home address some times
and my work address other times. Is there a way I can store more than one address to use
as a destination?”
The agent should select the Navigation System Cadillac Escalade Step-by-Step
Information document, then move to section 1.4.3 Creating an Address Book Entry and
explain the process.

Then the agent should go to Section 1.4.4 Setting a Destination to an Address Book Entry
and explain how to set a destination using an address book entry.

3. Using Previous Destinations

“I’m a real estate agent. I have a 2005 STS. Sometimes I have to go to the same address
several times before a transaction is complete. Is there any way I can set the route back to
a place I was just at a couple of days ago? I don’t want to set a memory point because
after the sale I don’t have to go there anymore.”
The agent should use the Guide to Step-by-Step Documents to find the Denso TSC Gen
IV Navigation Step by Step Information document, then go to Section III: Setting and
Deleting Destinations> Setting a Destination by Preset Destination and explain setting a
destination using a previous destination.
