Rorisang Thage Wins Womandla Woman in
STEAM Award 2022: Rising Star (Category:
Engineering). The award was in recognition of her
inuence and contribution to the engineering
discipline in South Africa. Rorisang currently works
as a lecturer and a researcher in the Department
of Mining Engineering, working in the eld of
Mine Surveying. Earlier this year, Rorisang was also
acknowledged by the Woman of Stature
Foundation as one of the top ve nalists in the
category Woman in Engineering

Unisa CSET's School of Computing awarded their top achievers for 2022 at their School Advisory board meeting
held on 1 December 2022, in Mulde, Mr James Harris - Bsc in Computing, Mr Shale Bindla - Honours in
Computing & Ms Charlene Noome - Dip in Information Technology.
