Broadning Electrochemical Horizons with Nanomaterials and
Innocent Anions

ABSTRACT
In this talk, novel chemical, electrochemical and photochemical approaches
for the synthesis and fabrication of a wide range of nanostructured materials
based on metal-TCNQ coordination polymers, metal-hydroxides, -oxides, -
phosphide and sulphides (M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) together with metal-free
electrocatalysts such as (N/P) co-doped crystalline carbon and MOFs will be
presented. Applications of these nanomaterials/composites in sensors,
catalysis, water splitting and other energy related fields will be discussed.
Additionally, redox Chemistry of metal-carbonyl and other organometallic

compounds in gentle media containing the large
and weakly coordinating anions will be also
highlighted.
