Company Excellence through Matching in Recruiting
The better he can assess whether the vacant job is the right one
for him. And the greater the matching probability. In order for the
recruiter to be able to present the company appropriately to an
applicant whom he absolutely wants to win over for a vacant position,
it is advantageous if he can make the position palatable to him in a
manner appropriate to his type. Let's assume a recruiter is in an
interview with a red applicant (according to INSIGHTS MDI® ) and wants
to present the company as an attractive employer. To do this, she
proceeds as follows:
• She argues typologically and makes it clear to him that he
can work independently, climb a few rungs on the career
ladder, hold down a success- and strictly performance-based
job, and earn quite well.
• It explains to the applicant that he can be his own boss and
use free design options and has a say in the selection of his
employees.
For the other types of employees, the use of these typo- logical
arguments is worthwhile:
Arguments to inspire the yellow applicant
• independent activity with high self-determination
• upwardly open income
• Back office available
• Development- and development opportunities, own
career design
• Self-realization level high
• young, dynamic team as support
Arguments to convince the green applicant
• Job is family compatible
