Company Excellence through Matching in Recruiting

new employee, especially during the first day of work. The primary
focus here is on getting to know the new colleagues and the new
employee's managers. If necessary, this phase can cover the entire
first working week. After that, the onboarding phase in the narrower
sense takes place during professional and social integration.
The following are the main measures that can contribute to the
successful integration of new employees: realistic job previews, the
use of informal recruitment methods, integration by supervisors and
colleagues, training and orientation programs, sponsorship and
mentoring systems, coaching and supervision, trainee programs,
team development, the use of social media, and financial
                               incentives (Moser et al. 2018).

The three phases can also be used to assess the fit in feedback meetings
between the new employee and the and the sponsor or mentor.

Contact with the new colleagues and the completion of the first
tasks allow further differentiation in the assessment of the fit. It is
advantageous if the sponsor or mentor in particular has the ability
to make fundamental statements about matching or fit by listening
carefully, providing supportive feedback, and demonstrating a high
                               level of communicative competence.

Aspect 7: Designing job advertisements and profiles
                               with matching in mind

What remains is the type-appropriate and matching-oriented
approach to applicants with job advertisements or profiles, for
