DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
The Fire Station No. 145 and Administration Building project, built for the Daisy Mountain Fire District, included
the new construction of a 22,000 square foot public safety complex located in Phoenix, AZ. The facility
consists of a 7,500 square foot Administration Building and a 11,850 square foot fire station. Both buildings
of the public safety complex were constructed on a spread footings and slab-on-grade concrete foundation
with a wood structural frame. An exterior insulation and finish system and a concrete tile roof completed
the construction. The project also featured the demolition of an existing fire station and utilization of the
remaining footprint for the new station, which includes dorm rooms, triage rooms, and covered parking.
Other features of the Administration Building consist of offices, conference rooms, and exterior covered
patios.
