DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
The Fire Station No. 1 and Public Safety Facility, built for the Town of Queen Creek, included the demolition of
aging municipal structures and the new construction of a 13,400 square foot fire station and a 22,400 square
foot public safety and multipurpose facility in Queen Creek, AZ. The facility houses the Town of Queen Creek’s
Fire Department’s Battalion Chief, Fire Station No. 1, public safety, community chambers, and law enforcement
headquarters and supports 12 dormitories, administrative offices, and three apparatus bays. The public safety
complex was constructed utilizing a slab-on-grade foundation with a steel frame, an exterior of architectural
masonry with metal wall panels, and a combination metal and foam roof.
