Question
2 Section/Location: First Aid 113 Staff Name: Doretha Time: 12:35PM
Ms. Shopper had to wait as there was a woman asking for Motrin before Ms. Shopper could be helped. When Ms. Shopper entered Dorthea introduced herself and
asked how she could help. She was very pleasant. When Ms. Shopper asked for some Tylenol saying the heat was giving her a headache, Dorthea asked if she was
ok. She asked if there were any allergies and asked for Ms. Shopper's name. She then gave Ms. Shopper the Tylenol. She also offered Ms. Shopper to fill her water
bottle with the water that was in the cooler.
1 Section/Location: First Aid 110 Staff Name: Dewana Time: 1:46PM
Ms. Shopper entered the First Aid area. She asked for a Band-Aid for herself and then asked if their was an Epi-pen in case she needed one for her son. She gave
the Band-Aid to Ms. Shopper. She then stated they did not have an Epi-pen in the area, but said they had medication. Ms. Shopper would feel more comfortable
knowing they had an Epi-pen in First Aid due to the amount of peanuts that are sold in the stadium. Many schools have one for an emergency situation.
RECOMMENDATIONS
1) Every first aid interaction began with the staff giving their name and asking how they could help. For the last two years, Mrs. Shopper had
commented that the name tags were difficult to read (too low, often backwards) and it was a pleasant surprise when everyone introduced
themselves. It is nice to know who you is helping you.
2) There are some first aid stations that are harder to find than others. Recommend moving the flags so they are closer to the entry door to the
station so the station is easily identified.
3) I noticed the flag hanging from the ceiling by section 224/225 but didn't notice the station. I asked the guest service counter and they pointed me
right across the aisle way though.
4) I would recommend an Epi-pen in the First Aid stations. Peanut allergies can be serious. Perhaps individuals should carry it, but if schools have
one, it would seems appropriate for a large stadium to have them in the First Aid stations, since peanuts are sold.
