Electrical Tests

All WAGO products meet requirements for the following electrical tests:

• Temperature-Rise Test to IEC/EN 60947-7-1
The Temperature Rise Test examines the clamping point, including surrounding insulation, at rated current, over-current and short-
circuit current levels.
Unless otherwise specified in the related equipment specification, e.g., by specifying the nominal currents of the equipment, termi-
nal blocks and connectors are tested with current loads as specified in the respective construction specification.
For rail-mounted terminal blocks according to IEC 60947-7-1/EN 60947-7-1/VDE 0611, Part 1, or terminal blocks according to
IEC 60998-1/EN 60998-1/ VDE 0613, Part 1, the temperature rise must not exceed 45 Kelvin.
