3. NON-ACADEMIC REASONS FOR BEING DECLARED INELIGIBLE:

In addition to academic requirements for activities, clubs, dances and holding class or student government offices,
students must be “In Good Standing”. This means that to hold or participate in the school activities, students
cannot be in violation of school board policies on attendance, substance abuse and discipline. This “In Good
Standing” requirement will also apply to seniors qualifying for “valedictorian” or “salutatorian​”. Additionally, any
fines that a student has accrued throughout high school for items such as a lost book, lost calculator,
lost uniform etc… must be paid prior to a student participating in an extracurricular activity or sport.
