Ingredients:
A packet of poppy seeds
A packet of vanilla sugar
Butter (250g)
1 egg, 150g semolina
100-150g flour
800g potatoes
50g fine flour
½ tea spoon salt
Procedure:
1) Clean the potatoes, leave the skin and boil
them. Then let them cool, peel and grate them.
Add salt, semolina and flour. Mix it together and
make a hole in the middle of the mixture. Break 1
egg and place it there. Process it all together with
your hands till the dough gets smooth and solid.
2) Divide the dough into equal pieces, rol lit and
make some cones. Put the in boiling water with
salt and cook it for 10 minutes. Decant the potato
cones.
3) Place the cones on a plate (approx. 5 medium
size cones) and powder them with poppy seeds
mixed with vanilla sugar and pour warm melted
butter over it.
