SUCTION ANCHOR SYSTEM

The Suction Anchor System is a suction pump system
that is designed to be mounted on the rear of the ROV.
The tool consists of a powerful suction pump, output
flow meter, and high flow valve pack for hydraulic
pressure and flow controls.
The suction pump is capable of generating up to 10 bar (140 psi) differential
pressure, with a typical flow rate of up to 1300 l/min (80 m³/hr) at 7.5bar
constant differential pressure. The pump operates off a hydraulic supply of
up to 207 bar (3000 psi), with a maximum flow rate of 70 lpm.
The hydraulic supply is controlled by the high flow valve pack, which is Front View
controlled by the Jupiter control system. Jupiter 2 control system can be
pre-installed in the skid as an optional system. This will control the pump
pressure and flow rate independently. The pump has an integral system for
reversing its flow direction, which works by moving the outlet connection
relative to the pump suction and discharge ports.
The suction pile pump system comprises of an aluminium alloy framework,
suitable for mounting on the rear of the ROV allowing the use of the ROV
manipulators or other tools when the pump skid is fitted. The frame has
adapter legs for connection to the rear of the ROV frame.
