PIPELINE SURVEY SKID
The Pipeline Survey Skid has been designed to fit
directly to a FCV 3000C Remote Operating Vehicle
(ROV). The skid can be configured to be used with a
tool tray and mountings for survey equipments.
The skid is an ROV mounted ‘under-slung’ skid. It comprises of a main
frame structure to which the equipment can be mounted. The skid can be
configured to mount a TSS440 pipetracker system as well as mountings for
hydro-lek HLK-4600 camera booms, and base with pipeline running wheels
that can be extended to run on pipes up to 54 inches.
The Survey Skid is capable of carrying two Hydro-lek HLK-4600PT
camera booms which allow video inspection and monitoring of the
pipeline. The camera booms can be mounted on front or side of the skid.
Alternative top frame interfaces are available so that the skid can be fitted
to the previous generation FCV3000 ROV and other manufacturers ROV’s.
As an option the Survey skid can be enclosed to include space and
mounting of survey equipment, a retractable tool basket can also be fitted
to the front.
