played a major role in advancing prophecies was
            Woodrow Wilson.

Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President (1913-1921) was
a Democrat who is regarded by many as the first truly
“Progressive” President [13] . While much can be written
about Woodrow Wilson’s many accomplishments and
his controversial character [14-16] , our interest is focused
on his roles in the fulfilment of Prophecy.

First, he played a pivotal role in the fulfillment of
Jeremiah’s ancient prophecy [Jer.12:14-17, NLT]. We
spoke of the details of this prophecy in Chapter 3, pages
            53-54 and pages 69-71. Jeremiah revealed GOD’s

declaration that HE would uproot Israel’s evil neighbors
who had coveted their lands, and separate Judah from
them. But, HE would later have compassion and return
them, Arabs and Jews, each to their inherited lands.

The first part of this prophecy was fulfilled when these
territories were conquered, uprooted and absorbed into
the Ottoman Empire (circa 1453) 1923AD. The second
part of this prophecy was fulfilled nearly 500 years later
as World War I brought the demise of this Ottoman
Empire. The 1923 Treaty of Lausanne repartitioned
lands that had once been absorbed into the Ottoman
Empire back along similar boundaries of the former

nations; Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. This
Treaty was pursuant to the goals of the famous Balfour
Declarations (see page 53-54) which declared the British
government’s support for restoring the national home
for the Jewish people within the territory that was then
